Although I greatly admire King Crimson I would be very surprised if they ever got in the Rock Hall of Fame for these reasons.
(Domenico asked me to let you know how I truly felt about the Stones)
This year’s Rock Hall of Fame nominees came out last week. It is a good list overall. Out of the 15, at least 12 or 13 of the nominees deserve to get in sometime in the future. In addition, except for Def Leppard none of these acts had me running for the bathroom. Commentary on the 2016 Rock Hall of Fame

The traveling Mad Decent dance music festival came to the Hideout on Saturday, August 21. It was the closing performance of the tour.
“Covers for Cover II” was a worthwhile and sporadically entertaining musical charity event which took place at Lincoln Hall on Wednesday, December 23.
Grinderman delivered the goods at the Riviera on November 22 with a strong set of aggressive and hard edged blues based rock songs.
The evocative and musically seductive English group, the XX came to the Chicago Theatre on Tuesday, September 28.
Reggie’s Rock Club, located near Cermak and State is one of the better places to see live rock music in Chicago, and it is located relatively near to the south side.
The 2010 edition of Pitchfork Festival was slightly less satisfying than some of the previous ones, but it was still worthwhile.
